OpenAI researchers assert that users will now be able to “brainstorm” ideas with the artificial intelligence by combining the capabilities of its two different generative AI tools.

Sam Altman, the head of OpenAI, provided a use case for the dual capabilities by stating that it could write and illustrate a children’s bedtime story from a few basic prompts.

It is pertinent to mention that due to their incapacity to comprehend precise demands, current text-to-image systems, such Midjourney or OpenAI’s Dall-E 2, frequently misinterpret commands from users.

As a result, prompt engineers—also referred to as prompt wizards—have begun to appear. They receive training to improve the output of generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Dall-E.

“Our new text-to-image model, DALL-E 3, can translate nuanced requests into extremely accurate and detailed images,” claimed OpenAI. “DALL-E 3 is natively built on ChatGPT, allowing you to use ChatGPT as a brainstorming companion and prompt refiner.

It is to be noted that only paying customers will have access to the most recent version of DALL-E, and in October, ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Enterprise will get the upgrade.

Improved security mechanisms have also been added by OpenAI to its AI picture generator, which the company believes will stop individuals from producing vulgar or offensive images.

These safeguards include refusing requests to use particular terms and dismissing requests to represent public personalities.
